Ouwwwssssssssssssssssss

I'm super tired today because I kept waking up all night and asking Ciaran if he was okay. He sprained his knee skating on the weekend. Anyway, I mentioned it this morning to him and he said, "yeah, you kept asking me all night" and I said, "it was only because you kept going 'ouwwwwwwwssssssss' in the middle of the night and so I thought something was wrong."

Do you know what I mean when I type "ouuwwwssssss"? It's that sound where someone is trying not to be in pain but they are and all the pain is leaking out of their mouth through clenched teeth. He must have done that 700 times last night and so I had dreams about his legs buckling and him dragging himself across the floor which led me to constantly wake up asking, "are you alright?"
