I went to Toronto and had my night with the ladies. That's right, my bachelorette party. It was awesome fun and I danced the night away despite the craziness of wedding planning that is currently coming to a head.
I also received an AWFUL lot of attention that evening while we were out dancing. Perhaps because of the giant veil headpiece I was wearing all night. What a mysterious night, in the way that I've never had so many strange men (and women, for that matter) approach me and ask me direct questions about my relationship status before. When are you getting married? Are you going on a honeymoon? What is your financee like? In your dress long or short? Why are you getting married? Most of the people were really nice and supportive and everything but some of them! Geeeeze! Some of the men were like "WHY?! Then there is one less single woman out there!" Blughghhg. It made me uncomfortable. And so I danced. I danced away all the silliness and basked in the happiness of the love of my friends (who are all very excellent dancers).
In short? I'll dance the "Dance of Joy" with them any day.
